Where: Classrooms throughout Southcentral Alaska
What: The local E-Week Steering Committee helps to coordinate presentations by local engineers in classrooms throughout Anchorage and South-central Alaska. The presenters talk about topics suited to the grade-level of the class, including what it’s like to be an engineer, the educational requirements needed to become an engineer, and much more. In a typical year, more than 30 volunteer speakers give nearly 40 presentations to approximately 1,000 students.
